In 6th and 7th grade we took part in a contest that is conducted annually by Lucerne Dairy. The contest links History and Art lessons together by using Visual Culture. The student must select a theme from history and depict it on a pre-printed cow form. If the student is chosen as a finalist, they will then have the opportunity to recreate their design on a LIFESIZE COW SCULPTURE!
